Write a reviewCHAKRA Society was registered under the West Bengal Societies Act XXVI on 28th January 2000 Chakra Society is a registered Charity working in tea plantations in North Bengal in India We work in the poorest plantation villages, helping village communities reshape their lives We now aim to integrate our services by creating a holistic community focal point in each of the 5 project areas In 2007, 4 schools were founded in 4 of our project areas, where almost 1798 children have already recieved education and 337 are receiving an education for the first time
