Once the construction phase is completed, and all components of the wind turbines are installed the work of the WindPM's commissioning team begins. We are well aware that the fundamental aim is to maximize energy production, minimize capital and operating costs, and stay within the constraints imposed by the site.

Our experienced team will carry out standard electrical/mechanical & communication systems testing and complete an inspection of civil engineering quality records. WindPM will carry out the following activities:

  • Monitoring and compilation of Quality Control Data
  • Supervise cleaning processes, pressure testing, motor and pump testing
  • Cold and hot loop checking,
  • Supervise turbine acceptance tests,
  • Supervise SCADA testing,
  • Liaison with Turbine Supplier, Balance of Plant Contractor and Grid Service Provider so as to co-ordinate the commissioning process
  • Trading and Settlement Code Compliance
  • Certify Compliance with Planning Permission, Building Regulations and other Statutory Approvals
  • Final account preparation
  • Snagging
  • Collation of "As Constructed" information
  • Hand Over of Safety File

Our focus is to ensure accurate and comprehensive testing is completed to ensure the most efficient wind farm is delivered to our customer.
