SirsiDynix’s Horizon system is used by hundreds of libraries worldwide. SirsiDynix includes modest upgrades to the Horizon platform in our product roadmap and focuses additional resources on ensuring that our Medley Products — products that integrate with both Horizon and Symphony — provide exciting new options for end user discovery and staff efficiencies for all Horizon customers.
SirsiDynix is committed to protecting our customers’ investments and has no plans to discontinue support for Horizon. Horizon customers can look forward to new features and more extensibility for their systems with support for Web Services and mobile applications in the upcoming releases discussed in the product roadmap.
While we continue to develop Horizon, our SirsiDynix Symphony ILS development strategy includes adding best of breed capabilities from Horizon along with exciting new features inspired by technology trends and customer feedback.
