A spacious Shelter has just been completed just outside our Tearoom. Which means summer showers will no longer play havoc with Alfesco Dining at Killruddery. For those of you who used to enjoy quiet weekend visits to the Tearoom you might be a bit sad to hear that – thanks to its popularity – on a sunny afternoon at the weekend you are unlikely to enjoy the same peace and quiet. We are delighted that so many people are coming along, a lot of our regulars have already bought their season pass so that regular visits are made easy.

However, mornings and week day afternoons are still relatively quiet, so why not pop in for your lunch or come for coffee in the morning with Friends?

A few people have already discovered that we have Wi-Fi available at the Tearoom and have moved their office to the Gardens for a whole afternoon!

Enda McCormac our Cook is excited about creating great soups everyday and we always have a Special Sandwich served with our freshly picked Kitchen Garden Salad – local and fresh ingredients are always involved in our menu.

Starting in June on Sundays, so long as it is not raining, we will be lighting up the BBQ and serving Killruddery Lamb Burgers and Ed Hicks Sausages, with the Kitchen Garden Produce and giving you the option to have a few glasses of Wine. We hope to create an offering you will look forward to revisiting on a Sunny Sunday from 12noon to 5p.m. throughout the Summer!
