How much do you charge for delivery?
Most GIY stuff (raised beds, compost etc) is pretty bulky but we won't charge you an arm and a leg to ship it. Our maximum delivery charge is just €6.50 nationwide, regardless of the size of the order or how much you're ordering. The delivery charge will be smaller if you are ordering less bulky stuff like:
Friend of GIY Card: €1
T-Shirts and Fleeces: €3.95
The relevant delivery charge will be clearly visible on the check-out page before you place your order.
How long will it take to get my stuff?
At GIY we love it when we get great service online, and so we do our best to make sure we provide you with the same. We also understand that when you buy GIY stuff, you want it delivered as soon as possible, with no hanging around! So, we give a delivery guarantee of 5 working days from the time the order has been verified on the website – usually it will be quicker than that (3 days).
Who Will Deliver?
Much as we'd love to deliver it ourselves and visit your veggie patch at the same time, we use a courier company called Fastway for all our deliveries. They will give you a call at the number you provide before delivery – if you're not there when they call they will give you a shout to arrange a time that suits. They won't leave a delivery unless instructed to do so by you.
What about damaged Goods or incomplete orders?
It's a fact of life that occasionally accidents happen in transit – the best laid plans of mice and men etc.! If any item in your order is damaged or if your order is incomplete in any way, let us know as soon as you can and we'll get it sorted for you speedily and a replacement arranged.
What if I want to return something?
We offer a 30-Day "No Quibble" money-back guarantee on orders. If you decide you are not happy with your purchase, you can return it to us at any point within 30 days following delivery for a full refund. Your statutory rights are not affected. There is a re-stocking fee of 20% of the value of the item which is only applied to items you change your mind about. This does not apply to faulty or damaged products.
