Two days of great weather and steady (if not a little light) breeze made for a very enjoyable cruiser regatta this August bank holiday weekend. Shane Statham put in an almost flawless performance to take the first place trophy for class 1. Second place in class 1 went to Ciaran McGrath, Adam Doyle, and the crew of Lady J.
The whitesail fleet was popular as ever for this event where David Marchant and his crew took the first place trophy. Second place went to Paddy Kyne and his crew on Maximus.
Thanks to all who took part and helped out over the two days.

We are delighted to announce that we have 4 racing spec 420’s at the club. This represents an exciting opportunity for students to bring their sailing on to another level
Students on this course will

- Improve trapeze and spinnaker work
- Practice line starts and other racing fundamentals
