Acorn Recycling operate a network of indoor forced aeration composting facilities capable of treating a wide range of biodegradable wastes. The composting process employed is highly controlled process that ensures compliance with a range of relevant standards, including EPA compost quality requirements and Department of Agriculture animal by-product treatment.
As a batch process the facility is capable of treating a wide range of wastes from which a range of compost products are produced (ranging from high quality Class 1 compost to stabilised biowaste).
Acorns composting infrastructure will play a vital role in enabling Ireland to move away from the landfilling of biodegradable waste, as required by the EU landfill Directive, and managing our waste in a more environmental and economically sustainable manner.

- Catering waste
- Green Waste
