Sensory Analysis

We have active Sensory Panel including Trained Assessors for Descriptive Panels and as a result of our on campus location we have access to Initiated and Consumer Assessors made up of internal staff and students from St Angela’s College. Sensory Analysis is a key element of the work conducted in The Food Technology Centre, in particular Competitor Benchmarking and shelf life evaluation.

Nutritional Analysis

Based on ingredient specifications, inclusions and pack weight supplied by the client, the composition of the major nutritional parameters is provided per 100g of product. Microdiet is a dietary analysis package, which provides information for a list of foods for over 60 nutrients, together with energy ratio and amino and fatty acid values.
