If you have concerns about the safety of your floor, please get in touch it will give you the peace of mind to know that you have done your duty in providing a surface which is fit for purpose for your customers, staff and you.

We are happy to work with you in the planning stages of a new development to ensure that products chosen will provide adequate grip after installation.

The first thing our customers need is advice on what they need to do to keep accidents to an absolute minimum. In these days of heavy litigation the risks from slip and falls to your business have never been greater. We will provide you with a risk audit including a slip reading of any surface which you feel may require attention from there we will go through your options and recommend the correct approach and cleaning procedures for your floor.

Slip Readings and Ratings

After a SlipNOT treatment a surface could be safter wet than dry.

SlipNOT has been evaluated according to industry standards adopted by Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and the American Society of Testing and Materials (A.S.T.M.). In accordance with A.S.T.M. Procedures C-1028-1894, SlipNOT can create a safe walkway surface on quarry tile and glazed tile in dry and wet conditions.

A static anti-slip coefficient of friction of .50 or above is considered a safe walkway surface, in the UK the standard is 36 on the pendulum test.

We can provide slip testing using a variety of methods but in our opinion the best test is the simple walk test. Are you comfortable walking on the surface when it is wet. If not give us a call.
