What we do

Whether it's a spinal, sports or occupational injury physiotherapists are able to successfully treat a wide range of muscular and joint problems experienced by most of us at some time. In addition to the common sprains and strains, our physiotherapists can treat spinal conditions causing headaches, back pain and sciatica.

Due to the depth of knowledge and experience in treating musculoskeletal dysfunction physiotherapists often successfully assess and manage patients who have suffered whiplash injuries. Medico-Legal reports are available on request.

Many problems require muscle balance assessment with specific flexibility and strength exercises to assist postural re-education. All our physios have post-graduate training in manipulative therapy so are able to manipulate joints, where appropriate, to improve further mobility and functions. Therapists with advanced training in acupuncture can provide this approach where appropriate.

Allied Health Professional Liaison
From time to time it may be necessary and appropriate to involve other medical practitioners in the management of a client's treatment and rehabilitation. We have an excellent working relationship with a number of allied health professionals who we regard as leaders in their field of expertise:

  • Sports medicine specialist physicians
  • Dieticians
  • Orthopaedic surgeons
  • Local family GP
  • Fitness instructors and gyms
  • Sports psychologists
