Why Use Larsen Piling

Cost effective & efficient installation of piles by fully certified Piling Operatives to latest codes and standards

  • Minimum access width: 2.9m
  • Low vibration solutions
  • Full complement of rigs for most situations
  • Fast and efficient friendly service
  • Operating throughout Ireland, both North & South

The pile is significantly smaller in diameter than a similar capacity CFA pile, as such there is less new material used in the construction of the pile and a minimal amount of concrete used in the pile forming process. This is becoming more important to clients who want to make as small an impact on the environment as possible.

Laren piling: Underpinning

Timber floors can be replaced with solid concrete floors which can be left at a reduced level to facilitate the installation of insulation or the provision of an under floor heating system. Traditional Underpinning stabilises the existing walls by excavating beneath the existing foundations in a ‘Hit & Miss’ fashion, to a depth where firm load bearing strata exists.

Laren piling: Mini Piling

Cost effective & efficient installation of mini piles by fully certified Piling Operatives to latest codes and standards. Risk of undermining or damaging existing services and/or foundations. Minimise cost of installing a hardcore base for the piling rig. Mini Piling is a low vibration restricted access system. Unsuitable ground conditions for standard foundations. If using a remote powered rig.

Laren piling: Helical Screw Piles

Screw Piles are composite end-bearing/friction piles well suited for resistance to compression of tension loads, in poor soil conditions by transferring load to to high end bearing capacity helical plates. This system can include lifting brackets to enable settled buildings to be returned to their original line and level. It consists of a steel anchor with a 100 to 250mm grout column around the shaft above the helical plates.
