In many cases unemployed individuals are due not only PAYE refunds but also Income Levy and Health Levy refunds.

You may not have received a redundancy payment but could still be due a sizeable refund!

You may have already made your own tax refund application. Don’t worry you can still complete an application form to ensure you got the correct refund, we can still review the other tax years 2006 – 2008 and we can check if you are entitled to an Income Levy or Health Levy refund as follows:

Income levy

  • If you had a medical card at any time during 2009
  • Income did not reach the €15,053 threshold
  • Overpaid the income levy on a taxable redundancy

Health Levy

  • Earned over €500 per week but was made unemployed before gross pay for a year did not reach €26,000.
