The Source and KCAT are proud to announce the upcoming exhibition of work by Thomas Barron, which signals the next chapter in the unique Homecoming series and sees the Kilkenny based artist returning home to Tipperary.

Highly regarded as a painter, working predominantly on canvas, Thomas’ work develops through a series of very carefully worked stages. The process begins in pencil and progresses to include multiple layers of paint resulting in pieces with a great sense of depth, and a particular compositional balance between colour and form.

Thomas lives in Grangemockler Camphill, Co. Tipperary and is a member of the KCAT studio. He has exhibited widely in Ireland and abroad and has been awarded numerous commissions. Thomas is delighted to be showing his work in his native Tipperary.
