Childfocus provides a comprehensive, community based one to one support service (including out of hours access) to children aged 12 years or under who may be experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties.
What does Childfocus do?
Childfocus aims to support children to overcome their problems and to be able to cope better with anything that happens in their lives.
Putting you in control
Childfocus is a service for and owned by children, which means:
- The child can decide if they want to meet with us
- The child can talk to an ISPCC worker face-to-face, on the telephone or over the web.
- The child works with us to put a plan in place which will provide support to them in overcoming difficulties in their life
Parent Mentoring Programmes
Childfocus believes that children can resolve emotional/behavioural issues through comprehensive support and interaction.
