Wine Australia – John McDonnell
Our next event. Well not exactly our event, but one we are taking part in.
The second International Grenache Day will be celebrated this Saturday 24th September,2011 and wine scribe Matthew Nugent is the
driving force behind the Irish celebrations of the day.
Although France (Southern Rhone) and Spain (Priorat and Rioja) may claim to be the heartland of the variety, with 100 year old plantings
in the Barossa, Mc Laren Vale and the Clare Valley, Grenache is equally at home in Australia
The format below, and more details attached, of what Matthew has planned for the evening. Should be a fun.
Very grateful if you could forward this to any friends/family/colleagues/customers whom you think might be tempted.
