It’s 8 euros in and the music kicks off at 9pm until 2am.

As you may know Polska’s “2nd Rate” Album is out on Subtle Audio early in May.
Polska is a producer based in Dublin who has had releases on labels like Bassbin, Inperspective, Counter Intelligence, Kin and, of course, Subtle Audio. His debut album “Skeptic” was released in 2006 on Canadian label Make:Shift and showed the range of his unique style, incorporating ambient and jazz alongside his obvious love for jungle rhythms as well as downtempo beats.
The new album is spread over 2 CD’s and 20 tracks.
CD 1 will feature the D&B style and CD2 will have a selection of downtempo works.

The first release comes from Yoru, and is a four track EP of pure deep bass music spanning Drum and Bass, Dubstep and Dub Techno.
It’s getting some great support from all over, from the likes of boxcutter, hungry ghost and Macc!
Check out the previews below, then go grab it from your favourite download store.
It’s 2010 (you probably noticed already) and has 2 new releases for you. First up is Mecca – Leviathan (SUBLTED007), a local lad from Ennis. Following that is Nebula – Prototype Chords (SUBTLED008). You can check out samples of the tunes on the Subtle Audio website (linked to above) and then buy them, each for the misery sum of €1.50. You can’t say fairer than that.

Hertz-u present Goldie (History of Metalheadz set)
plus guests: Fraher, Bonz, Synergy
Andrew’s Lane, St Andrew’s Lane, Dublin 2
Friday October 30th
Admission: €15 / Doors: 11pm – late
Starting out as a graffiti artist, earning commissions from local councils in the UK, Goldie moved to America when he began fitting gold teeth (hence his artist name), and where he also appeared in the grafitti art-movie ‘Bombing’. He returned to the UK and became a convert to rave after being taken to Rage by DJ Kemistry, and eventually started doing design work for Reinforced Records, before working as A & R for the label. Goldie quickly became one of the most famous figures in drum n’ bass, releasing various landmark records on a plethora of leading labels, but most importantly establishing the legendary Metalheadz (label
and club night). For this special set at DEAF, he traces the history of Metalheadz through 15 years on the cutting edge.
