Injury Prevention and Recovery
Injury is generally:
- Acute trauma (a sudden onset as in a breaking bone)
- A chronic onset (an imbalance or weakness which culminates in injury
Avoid a chronic injury with in-depth Postural Screening, which will pin point any area of imbalance within the skeleton (enlarged or flattened spinal curves), or muscular system (one muscle group too strong for it’s opposing group, lack of flexibility etc).
Coupled with an analysis of your sport or activity’s needs, your CHEK Practitioner is skilled to design a programme of exercise and nutrition to re-set your body’s foundation (muscles and skeleton), so that your daily activity, or sport performance can be as injury free as possible.
Recovering from injury, your programme will address any issues of imbalance in the body as above, getting your body and mind back to your activity or sport – and feeling stronger than ever before!
