Asbestos is a hazardous material which requires risk accessment, safe controlled removal, packaging, transport & disposal, to comply with Asbestos Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations. At HAR we invest in annual training, medical audits and state of the art removal equipment to control and monitor the health risks associated with asbestos during removal, transport & disposal operations.
To comply with the Asbestos Regulations, HAR carry out risk assessments to determine potential exposure levels for each individual removal task, which is supported by a detailed plan of works method statement. During removal we apply specifically planned techniques to ensure best practice at all times. We offer an experienced and trained asbestos removal labour force, who are supported by one a largest portfolios of plant and safey equipment in the industry.

Once Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs), are identified, Harrington Asbestos Removal will provide detailed advice and costing for the safe removal and disposal of any hazardous ACMs and reinstatement where required, for example, replacing asbestos roofs with insulated ‘firesafe’ composite panels.
In many cases asbestos is in good condition and does not present a hazard until disturbed.
