Greener Energy Homes Assessors can conduct an assessment on your final drawings prior to the building work commencing and ensure that the best use of energy efficient materials and technologies are incorporated   A little more thought and investment in the fabric of the build will have lasting effects on the running costs during your period of occupancy and on the re-salable value if you decide to sell.  It’s worth noting that it is easier to incorporate some of these cost saving measures in the building phase, rather than having to try adding them, in later years.  We all want that home completed as quickly as possible and often try to save both time and money on the fabric so that we have money to give that designer finish; but it is worth remembering that a bit more investment in the fabric of the building will earn you, over time the money to achieve that designer finish you desire without compromising on quality.  Be wise and insulate your investment.

Your Self Build Improvement Report provides:

  • a step by step plan on how your builder can achieve optimum energy rating for your home
  • a breakdown of how each alteration to the building fabric affects the energy rating
  • Cost benefits analysis of each element being installed.
  • Guideline costs are provided for all renewable technologies that are proposed and included in the energy calculations

Greener Energy Homes Assessors will meet with you to discuss the details of the report and answer any questions you have relating to alterations or types of innovative technologies that we have proposed for your home.
