There are an abundance of opportunities in the emerging markets of Africa, like any new business opportunity there are challenges. We leverage our global network of established strategic partners with local partners and, where appropriate, facilitate the process of obtaining the necessary funding. We offer years of experience in working with state and semi state bodies, joint ventures, partnerships, introducing and facilitating the trade agreements and distributorships.
Financial institutions and foreign investment agencies are often unable to support private initiatives without government involvement. GPI is primarily working with Public Private Partnerships however we are also working with private enterprises assisting them to obtain the funding they require to take advantage of potential opportunities.
- Expertise in developing projects/marketing initiatives in emerging markets based on years of experience in creating partnerships, joint ventures and distribution arrangements
- Advise on raising funds for emerging market transactions from a variety of debt and equity sources
- Expertise in dealing with government and multilateral funding agencies (World Bank, ADB, AfDB, USAID, DFID, OFID, Irish Aid, SIDA, UNDP and European Union) and a large number of agencies worldwide that provide funding support to projects in emerging markets
- Expertise of creating the quantitative, qualitative, and written materials necessary to obtain these sources of funding, which serves to augment a company’s existing financial team
