Incorrect set up of VDU / DSE work stations can lead to musculoskeletal disorders, repetitive strain injury, visual fatigue and increased stress levels.
The VDU / DSE risk assessment will involve detailed assessment of each individuals work station and will look at the suitability of the following.
- Chairs- Adjustability, lumbar support, castors etc
- Work planning
- Health surveillance(Eye testing, Back care)
- Work Space
A report will be drafted for each individual, with recommendations on achieving compliance where required.
