WILLS

It is everybody's intention to make a Will, however, it is difficult to find the time as it is never urgent and can be put off till tomorrow. We try to ensure that making a Will is as simple and convenient as possible. Why not give us a call to discuss matters in strict confidence.
Wills must be tailored to each individual's needs at a specific time e.g. a married couple with young children usually make Wills leaving everything to each other and appointing guardians and trustees of their children in the event that they both die in a tragic accident. If  no Wills are made infant children are entitled to a third of their parent's estate and in the event of both parents dying would be made Wards of Court.

HOME PURCHASES

A Solicitor is needed for house purchases to ensure that you get proper title (ownership). Solicitors have considerable expertise in the practicalities of the housing market, and we would be glad to provide independent advice generally prior to you agreeing a purchase. You may phone us without obligation if you are thinking of buying or moving.

CAR ACCIDENTS

Unfortunately many people settle their car damage claims with their own Insurance Company under their comprehensive policy without discussing the matter with a Solicitor.
Where liability is clear cut i.e. it is not your fault then it may be more cost effective to employ a Solicitor to claim off the other driver's Insurance Company. There is no cost to you for the Solicitor's service as the other Insurance Company will pay the professional fees and you will be saving your policy excess and may get additional compensation for depreciation in the value of your car and also car hire/loss of use.
