Interview Skills Training:
We offer a programme in interview skills. This can be 1 or 2 days, depending on the level of experience of the attendees. The focus of the programme is on both traditional and competency based interviewing techniques. The programme uses a mix of presentation sessions and practical sessions. For the practical sessions, we utilize professional actors to role play interviewees, giving a realistic preview of what to expect when conducting interviews.
Assessor Skills Training:
Research has indicated that utilizing Assessment Centre’s, rather than simply interviews, increases the likelihood of correct selection decisions. O’Brien Consulting conduct a 2 day workshop that teaches participants effective assessment techniques. The assessment methodologies covered include Group Activities, 1:1 role plays, written case studies etc. O’Brien Consulting utilizes assessment materials from a range of suppliers for this workshop. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to effectively assess candidates attending assessment centre’s and give clear and constructive feedback.
O’Brien Consulting deliver a suite of programmes that up skill managers in how to effectively coach their teams. These courses are bespoke and vary between 1 and 3 days depending on the needs of the client. The courses utilize a number of key techniques and combine a range of theories to deliver a practical programme.
