O’Brien Consulting offer executive coaching to professionals. The aim of our coaching interventions is to clarify focus and re-awaken the hunger to succeed at both a personal and professional level. Utilising techniques such as goal setting, we assist senior professionals understand their career goals and work with the coachee to develop strategies to achieve these goals. A large part of our approach to coaching is to assist our coachees gain a greater insight into themselves. By understanding your personal drivers, you can make more effective plans. Utilising a range of personality measures, coachees will develop a greater understanding of their personal motivators.

We also offer coaching for underperformers. Underperformance has a costly impact on businesses and it is imperative that organisations have a motivated work force. We aim to reduce underperformance by:

  1. Refocusing individuals, ensuring that they are on a career path that suits
  2. Examining levels of self confidence
  3. Identify professional goals and develop strategies to achieve these

For large scale de-selection (e.g. graduate recruitment), O’Brien Consulting utilise aptitude tests that measure aptitude across all levels of role. The client receives a full report written by the Psychologist identifying both strengths and potential areas of concern.
