The People Group was established in the late 1980's and is one of the largest Sales & Marketing recruitment companies in Ireland. We are based in a City Centre location and have been since the company's inception.

Prior to joining The People Group all of our recruitment consultants have had extensive experience in senior Sales and Marketing roles in various industry sectors, and/or extensive experience in recruiting in their specialist fields. All have developed and maintained close industry contacts with both clients and candidates.

We have over the last three decades developed excellent in-depth knowledge of the marketplace and the key players together with developing excellent relationships with both clients and candidates.



The People Group’s core service is the provision of a very high quality screening, recruitment, search and selection service primarily in the specialist areas of Sales, Marketing and Management at all levels of seniority, and administration personnel, across all industry segments. We also handle a growing number of client driven search and selection assignments for senior appointments in other functions including Operations, HR and General Management.

Within Marketing People we cover positions from Marketing Executive, Market Analyst, Product Management, Segment Management, Market Research, Direct Marketing, Brand Management, PR Management, Marketing Communications and general marketing roles from assistant level to Head of Function. We also handle all types of Marketing Agency roles at all levels. We have also developed strong relationships in the Digital marketing community.

Our Sales division Sales People manages assignments from Sales Support, Customer Service, Telesales/Telemarketing, through Account Management, Business Development at all levels, Field Sales Management, in fact, all sales roles up to and including Head of function.

Additionally we cover a number of other roles such as Channel Management, Business Planning and Sales and Marketing Management, which could fall under either category.

Management People is our specialist search division which specialises in the sourcing and recruitment of all head office senior personnel. This division comes into its own where we need to dig deep to find the candidates that clients are looking for – those candidates who by their nature are not actively looking for a move.

Our Banking and Finance division sits under our Finance People brand. We have a dedicated and focused team with many years of successfully recruiting within the banking and financial sectors.

Administration People, as the name suggests cover all types of support people across all Head Office functions, from PA’s to receptionists, customer service personnel, Sales administrators, office juniors, HR administrators, junior accounts etc.


The People Group operates in a slightly different manner to the majority of recruitment agencies, in that we interview all of our candidates initially when they register with us and again for each position for which we believe they may be suitable. By operating in this way, we ensure that we only recommend to our clients candidates capable of doing the job in question. This policy ensures that time is not wasted by either the client or the candidates.

For all recruitment requirements we work very closely with clients, taking a full briefing for each assignment. This can take up to an hour or more but pays dividends in the long run in that only suitable candidates are submitted for interview.

We operate a variety of systems to ensure that we identify the best candidates. The starting point is a database search using our state of the art networked database system which includes the most up-to-date recruitment, candidate and client tracking system.This system includes extensive market intelligence on candidates who are not actively on the market.

Our website is an essential tool for promoting roles to candidates. Because of our specialist nature the website attracts large numbers of quality candidates (sales, marketing, management, finance and administration) from both Ireland and overseas.

We are extremely active in the market place in our own specialist areas of operation and are aware of what is going on and who is on the move. Our varied industry experience allows us to contribute considerably to the selection process as a partner rather than a pure service provider.
