About Peadar Kearney's
Everything about this pub is unassuming and authentically Irish. You will not find any of the pseudo Irish memorabilia and kitsch that clutters most pubs in the city. Everything is real from the casqued barrel tables to the 35 year old Guinness commissioned cartoons and posters on the walls. Peadar Kearney; the legendary Irish man who wrote Amhran na bhFiann, our national anthem, lived in this very building and it is said he penned the song right here in 1907.
Not only are we steeped in rich Irish history, we offer the best prices in Temple Bar. You will not find €7 or €8 pints here! All pints are €4.20 Mon-Fri til ' 7pm. We have live music nightly and the sensational Brian Brody takes to the stage every Friday & Saturday night.
Our beautiful downstairs bar is ideal for private parties and functions - the only private function space on Dame St! Suitable for up to 100 guests with a private bar, big-screen, stage area, smoking area & toilets. We cater for office parties, family
