What is a Passive House?

A “Passive House” is a house built to the highest standards and certified by a Passive House trained certifier.
It is economical and environmentally friendly in both construction and use.
It must conform to the following:
• MAX space heating demand of 15Kwh(m2a) (Heating requirement)
• A MAX heating load of 10w/m2
• Pressurization test result of 0.6h-1 (Air tightness)
• ENTIRE Primary energy demand of 120wh/(m2a)

What is a Thermo House?

A “Thermohouse” is a house built to Passive House standards but not certified as one but with one BIG has the “Green Chamber” running through all floors in the dwelling. This “Green Chamber” is a basement to roof, green house type structure which acts as an air purification, cleanser system, using photosynthesising plants to cleanse the air before it enters the house.
It is ideal for Asthma or Allergy sufferers.
