INTERACTIVE PEN FUNCTION
The PLC-WL2503 is equipped with an interactive function. Thanks to a built in sensor and newly developed software, the projection white screen allows it to be written on with a built-in infrared light pen while using a PC.
The PLC-WL2503 can project a full 80-inch diagonal image from a distance of only 34 inches. Teachers can project images onto the screen and produce no shadow on the screen. This means they can use large images even in relatively small rooms.
WXGA, FITS A VARIETY OF APPLICATION SITUATIONS
Offering a wide XGA 1280 x 800 (16:10) resolution, the PLC-WL2503 makes it possible to project HD images with easy connection from your DVD player via HDMI terminal.
The PLC-WL2503 is equipped with SANYO’s exclusive PJ Network Interface for wired networking, a common feature among SANYO’s extensive line of commercial projectors. Networking allows the monitoring of projector functions and operation from long distance via a web browser, allowing e-mails to be sent automatically to report operating status.
NEARLY MAINTENANCE FREE
This projector offers long periods (4,000 hours in ideal condition) of maintenance-free use without the need for lamp and filter replacement. The PLC-WL2503 is equipped with SANYO’s proprietary hybrid filter, composed of multiple filter layers, and the lamp lifespan has been improved. This longer life span saves time and money on maintenance.
EASY ON/OFF FUNCTION
The power turns on as soon as you connect the power cord. No need to press any buttons on the remote control or projector. You can also disconnect the power cord as soon as the power is turned off.
BLACKBOARD, COLOR BOARD MODE
In classrooms and other places where there is no screen available, images can be projected onto the blackboard or colored boards. This enables quick setup when making presentations or calling a quick meeting.
PLC-WL2503 is Closed Caption compatible.
Designed to be wall mounted above the interactive whiteboard the PDG-DWL2500 requires one of the smallest gaps between the top of the board and the bottom of the projector, making the unit suitable for the widest range of classroom environments, even where ceiling height is limited.
The PDG-DWL2500 provides 2500 ANSI, native WXGA resolution, although can be switched to a 4:3 aspect to provide compatibility with current board installations.
Excitingly, the PDG-DWL2500 is also 3D compatible. With Education applications forecast to be one of the strongest growth areas for 3D, this not only enables end users to “Future Proof” their purchase, but also offers the opportunity for a truly immersive teaching experience.
The PDG-DWL2500 is available now. Please contact us to arrange a demonstration of this exciting new projector.
Also New in September, 2010, are two further Short throw projectors, the PLC-WL2500 and PLC-WL2501.
Projecting at full Brightness of 2500 ANSI with a reduction to 1500 ANSI using Eco mode both models are ideal for Education and training environments where the short throw lens helps to minimise the on screen shadows which can affect longer throw projected images.
Both models offer WXGA resolution, HDMI input, as well as two analogue Dsub15 data inputs plus video.
While thePLC-WL2500 offers the traditional remote and cabinet controls, the PLC-WL2501 benefits from an additional Orange security plate which covers cabinet control buttons to prevent unauthorised use.
Integrated 10 watt speaker provides sufficient audio for a classroom environment, while network monitoring and control with e-mail alert, enables the projector to be managed remotely across the network, switching the projector into standby mode at the end of the day.
Extended Lamp life and long life filter all help to reduce the need for maintenance, and in conjunction with a 3 year De-Install/ Re-Install warranty and 3 year Lamp Warranty offers the end user a low fixed cost of ownership over the period
