Good Morning Letterkenny

Cara House is hosting the new Good Morning Letterkenny Service.

This service will call people living alone for a friendly chat and to make sure they are well.  If you are aware of anyone living alone who would benefit from this service – no matter where they live in Donegal – it can be arranged. Call for details

Cara House ‘After School Club’   2 – 6pm

Bookings are now being taken for September 2011             €5 a day

It is possible for us to collect children from some local schools

Saturdays for 5th and 6th Class pupils

Art

Saturdays at 10.30, with Bernie, resuming June 4th - new members welcome                  

€2 a session

Dance

Saturdays 1 – 2 Dancing with Linda – new members welcome 1pm                                                €2 a session

Drop in Centre

Drop in anytime to Cara House for tea, coffee and a chat – you will always find a welcome and someone to talk to! 

Opening times: Weekdays: 10am -4pm & Mon-Thurs 7-10pm.  Saturdays:  11am-4pm.

Transport

With the support of our volunteers we are now able to offer a better service to get you to Cara House for courses or for lunch, and home again.  No charge, but donations welcome.

Laundrette

The laundrette has large machines that will take up to king size duvets

Wash for one hour €3    Tumble dry for one hour €4

Office services

Photocopying, typing, laminating, C.V. writing etc. are now available.

Book exchange service

Bring along old books and exchange them for ones you have not read!

Donations welcome.

Computer access

Computers are now available upstairs for anyone wishing to use them. Internet access is available – just ask at the office – no charge

Pool

The pool room is always open for anyone wishing to play – come on Monday nights and Denis will be there for a game if you need a partner.
