Everybody at Cúil Dídin strives to ensure that services are compliant with all national standards and in accordance with resident preference. It is our stated policy to ensure that all our residents are at ease – just as they would be in their own independent home environment. We ensure that all residents enjoy a relaxed, respected and warm environment.

Cúil Dídin offers long-term, short term and respite care, convalescence and post-operative care and care for special needs. Our ethos of care is person centred and supported by solid and regularly reviewed protocols.

Cúil Dídin has fifty-two ensuite bedrooms- forty-four private and eight semi-private rooms. Each room has a telephone, television, computer access point and an on-call alarm system. A wide range of purposeful, recreational and social facilities is available, and transport is provided for residents when required. Social activities and interaction with local community groups are scheduled and encouraged. There are quieter rooms for reading and chatting as well as a varied choice of regular living activities and entertainment.

The Oratory, located on the ground floor, provides an oasis of calm for prayer and contemplation and all services are transmitted to the rooms via the television and cabling system TV sets. We respect the individual beliefs of all those in our care.

All beliefs are respected and arrangements facilitated according to the wishes of the resident

Should any Resident, Relative, Visitor, Friend or Employee of Cúil Dídin wish to receive specific Pastoral advice, this can be easily facilitated by discussion with our Pastoral Care Sister. (Confidentiality applies at all times.)
