Cake My Day ~ Bon Voyage

Their daughter is moving to Australia with a few friends, so they thought an Australian-themed Bon Voyage cake would be great for the going-away party. I handmade little figurines of Rebecca and her friends, a kangaroo, boomerang, Australian flag… and even a shark fin in.

Cake My Day ~ Anniversary

I filled a heart-shaped chocolate sponge cake with chocolate ganache, and then covered it with chocolate ganache and sugarpaste. I made this cake for my friend’s parents on their wedding anniversary.

Cake My Day ~ Communion

She wanted a nice simple traditional style, so I covered the cake in white sugarpaste and sprayed it to give it a nice pearly finish. This cake was ordered for Caoimhe’s Confirmation day by her mother Michelle, from Naas. I then handmade the little white dove from modelling paste and attached it to a wire.

Cake My Day ~ Baby Shower

I made a dozen vanilla and a dozen chocolate cupcakes, and topped them all with vanilla buttercream. He didn’t want to go down the traditional cake route, so thought cupcakes were a better idea. Pat ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for his son’s Christening. I also handmade baby bibs.

Cake My Day ~ Birthday

I made a round cake, decorated to look like Ogie’s hubblecraft with plenty of bubbles around it. She loves watching the Irish children’s tv show Hubble, and dances along to the music. I made this birthday cake for my gorgeous niece, Mia.

Cake My Day ~ Christmas

There are a couple sliding down the outside of the cake, one climbing back up again, one sunbathing, and one throwing snowballs!The cake itself is a 9. He asked for a penguin Christmas cake, so I handmade loads of little penguins playing in the snow. This Christmas cake was for my friend Thomas.
